A few days ago, I did a Google image search for “punk knitting”, looking for inspiration, and possibly patterns that aren’t in Ravelry. I came across some pretty neat mohair leggings and sweaters from a shop whose name, being a huge fan of Camden in London, I simply couldn’t ignore: Camdenlock Clothing.

The designer is Tomomi Fukuda, born in Japan, having lived in Paris and London, and now making her mark on the LA fashion scene.

I was infinitely curious about the designer, so I did a quick search on her name and came across this 2010 interview with her. She apparently designed some clothing for Green Day’s American Idiot tour/album. I love being inspired by artists and designers making their own, less trodden paths.
